Pandora是个非常不错的internet radio，你只需要提供你喜欢的一个歌手或者一首歌，它会由此建立一个station，播放风格相近的歌曲，每首歌出来后你还可以选择喜欢或者不喜欢让播放列表继续改进。听到喜欢的歌还能方便的把它们放进书签，或者以它们为标准建立一个新站，还可以直接在itunes或者amazon购买。注册是免费的，可以无限听歌，保存100个站，如果想除去广告需要付一点点费用。当然现在主要是英文歌，但是歌非常非常全，我喜欢的 Of Montreal 和 Kings of Convenience 都有很多歌，推荐的也确实非常符合，是个发现新歌手的好方法，哈。推荐推荐。

For unit conversion, I was using some online conversion sites before. But I’m using google now. Just type “1 inch” then enter, you will get the corresponding cm. Also you can use google to do simple calculations. It’s very handy. ^^
For translation, I’m currently using some widgets. One is a very good en-en dictionary which is a part of the mac operation system. The other is a very good en-cn/cn-en widget powered by dict.cn
