春季学期开始了，一个可怕的学期。有老板的课要上（不敢不上啊），有助教要当（还好是半学分的助教），有门计算方法的课想旁听（我想选可是老板不建议选啊），而且，还有 thesis proposal 要完成要小答辩（到现在我都还不清楚我论文到底做啥），当然还有实验室的活儿要干（老板回来后的实验室生活真tmd紧凑）。这事情一多，dartmouth一年四个学期的弊端就出来了，这每个学期也就两个月多一点点点，一般来说选个两三门课就很忙了，说是还有一个学期来完成proposal，实际上也就不到两个月了，5月底前啥都得干完。要死了。虽然我很想赶快搞完一切，能早毕业最好，现在看是希望不大了，咳咳，要命啊，痛苦啊，啊，啊，啊。不过整体来说这学期我们实验室的人都会很忙，俩师兄要夏天毕业，现在要写论文和面试，老板要除了平常事务这学期还要带两门课，何况俩学生毕业也够他忙的，所以上学期末我问他选课多了会不会忙不过来时，他回我 “next term is going to be very hectic for all of us, so you may want to join the boat!” 不过有一点好的是，虽然我仍然担心夏天后变成老板唯一一个学生之后的可怜日子，但没那么怕了，好像。另外因为师兄在找工作做，给我们看了一个学校提供的典型package，才知道原来当教授除了工资还不错，福利更是很好，最赚的是以后子女上大学的学费学校是给出的，在本校上全免，外校上学校给出一半或三分之二，这可是一大笔钱啊。像dartmouth现在一年单学费要4万美刀，一个孩子读完大学光学费就20多万美刀，如果再多几个孩子的话。。。看来当教授熬过前几年能拿到tenure的话确实挺爽的说。不过，我毕业后大概还是会坚决离开学术界的，yoyo。
转换话题。Kaiser Chiefs 是我挺热爱的英国摇滚小乐队，最近刚出了新专辑 Yours Truly, Angry Mob。虽然还有几首歌不错，但我觉得坚决没有第一张 Employment 好听。咳咳，反正他们自己也都唱了，everything is average nowadays.

最近也在听这张的。听的几个小乐队都挺有意思，the fall out boy是这个吗？还有the fray，everlife之类的，都还蛮好
这个学期很累你一定要好好把握自己的饮食.千万不要累病了.学习工作都需要有一个非常好的身体!因此你平时就不要太晚睡觉,要学会保持有充足的睡眠!
Add oil, pig, you will arrive. I always think that you are more clever than me. I am always fucking busy with the phd in the company. I have to work at first as a technician because I am paid as others. Extras time is always needed to search and read the papers, and then discuss with my supervisors(Attention, I have one french supervisor, one english supervisor and perhaps another chinese supervisor). Things are difficult, but that is the way to make progresses.

吃的是不用担心我咯，饿着的我干不好活，哈。睡的话，这星期都很规律，比前段时间提前了不少睡。。。

no, i’m only good at certain things, i guess. who knows. i don’t think i’m thaaat busy, but kind of stressing in many ways.
as for you, you don’t really need to complain much. you are in very good shape.

‘some time’ is too unpredictable…it is the season of cherry blossom, you may check it out. But there is always a lot of things to see in DC if you are a museum enthusiast or you want a taste of gov/politics. I will graduate(yeah!) this May so you do better hurry up lah.

basically, I’m not interested in politics at all @.@ I think it’s probably the reason I haven’t been to DC yet. but now it’s definitely on my list since I have friends there, hoho. however, I probably won’t have time to travel until June :(….. what’s your plan after graduation?
